The founder Eset Barega, as her name Eset – Values ( set ሴት means women) as a mother, wife and business women is dedicated in Empowering women in the coffee sector and beyond through various coffee programs to help realize their full potential.
Tossa community
Eset coffee is proud to supply coffee to Tossa community coffee ceremony events in UK to raise funds to its charity. The organization currently provides support to 71 people, including women, the elderly, disabled and individuals with HIV/AIDS. In addition, with the money it raises TCDO offers kids school supplies every year.
Women contribute significantly to the global coffee sector. Between 20% and 30% of coffee farms are female-operated and up to 70% of labor in coffee production is provided by women, depending on the region.
