ESET COFFEE has run a successful business with partner company DMT exports with offices in Ethiopia and UAE in the export of oil seeds, pulses and spices since 2004 before embarking in coffee business in 2020.
Since its inception ESET has exported premium and commercial grade Ethiopian Arabica green coffee to Middle East, China, UK, and USA and recently launched its ground and roasted coffee having a presence in major supermarkets and coffee shops.
Ethiopia is the 5th largest Arabica coffee producing nation in the world and is a bean most coffee roasters, café and supermarkets carry.
Indigenous Arabica has been growing in the wild for centuries. Legend claims coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia by a goat herder named Khaldi around 850 AD where he found his goats acting crazy after eating the coffee berries. It’s claimed this place is Keffa region in southwest of Ethiopia where the name coffee was derived from.
Coffee in Ethiopia is the centre of life where its brewed and served as a ceremony by millions each day uniquely making it from roast to brew in front of drinkers not to mention the crowded cosmopolitan cafés in cities.
